Hit $5,000 in a single month for the first time and I still can't believe it
I've been doing the digital nomad thing for about 8 months now, mostly doing freelance bookkeeping and some spreadsheet work for small businesses. Last month I finally cracked $5,000 in income, which felt like this big invisible wall I'd been running at. The funny part is it wasn't one huge project but a bunch of smaller ones from repeat clients that snowballed. I'm curious what milestone made you feel like you were actually making it work out here?

That's the thing nobody talks about, it's never one big break but a bunch of little ones that add up to something real. $5,000 is a huge milestone, congrats on breaking through that wall.

Actually I gotta say one thing real quick. You mentioned how it's never one big break, but sometimes it actually IS one big break that makes everything click lol. Like with my friend who had a random local news article pick up her Etsy shop and she went from $200 a month to $6k overnight. The little steps got her ready for it for sure, but that article was the real turning point. That $5,000 milestone is still huge, I'm not taking away from that at all. Just saying sometimes the big break shows up when you least expect it, even if you've put in the work to be ready for it.
