I finally got to Medellin and the coworking scene is a bit weird

Spent a month there and every space was either a silent library or a loud party bar with laptops. No in-between. The one on Calle 10 even had a DJ at 2 PM on a Tuesday. On the other side, some nomads say the quiet spots are perfect for deep work and the noisy ones are for networking. What's the better setup for actually getting things done?

My buddy got a PowerPoint done during a salsa lesson.

Totally get that! My friend tried to work from a cafe there and the staff started a conga line between the tables. Guess you just need different spots for different moods.

Maybe the real problem is trying to fit a full workday into one spot? I mean, I'd just split the day between both types, get focused work done early in a quiet place and then move later for the social stuff. Idk, trying to make a single space do everything seems like the actual hassle.
