I started using a $7 folding phone stand during flights and it fixed my neck on long haul trips
I fly about twice a month between Lisbon and Berlin for client work and my neck was killing me after every trip. I used to just hold my phone or prop it on a coffee cup, which meant I was looking down at a bad angle for four hours straight. Last month I grabbed a cheap folding phone stand at the airport in Lisbon for 7 euros and tried putting it at eye level on the tray table. I watched two movies on my last flight and my neck felt fine when I landed, which never happens. The stand weighs almost nothing and fits in my laptop sleeve. Has anyone found a good way to do this with a tablet on overnight buses too?
