Missed a client call because of a rogue rooster in Lisbon

I was set up at a cafe in Alfama with my laptop, headphones on, 10 minutes before the call. Then this rooster starts going off right next to my table, nonstop for like 15 minutes. I couldn't hear myself think, so I scrambled to move, but my hotspot dropped in the alley and I joined the call 12 minutes late. The client was cool about it, but I've learned to check for farm animals before picking a workspace. Has anyone else had a random local sound wreck their workday?

Try booking a quiet room next time, its the only way I survive calls now.
