Picked coworking space over coffee shop in Medellin and it paid off in 2 weeks

I was spending $6 a day on coffee and pastries just to use a cafe's wifi for work. Switched to a coworking space in El Poblado for $120 a month and got way more done. The internet was faster and I met three other nomads who shared tips on finding apartments. Has anyone else found coworking spaces worth the money over the free cafe option?

Wait, is $6 a day really that wild in the grand scheme of things? I mean, it's not great but I've paid way more for sketchy hotel wifi that barely worked.

Did you find the networking actually useful? I had the same thing happen in Chiang Mai, coworking space paid for itself with just one good apartment lead.
