Serious question, does anyone actually work from coworking spaces anymore?
Three years ago I was paying $220 a month for a hot desk in Chiang Mai and I thought it was worth every penny for the AC and fast wifi. Now I just work from my $38 a night guesthouse room in Da Nang and get more done without the small talk. The thing nobody admits is that most coworking spots are just expensive places to watch other people pretend to be busy. I met more real clients through a random Facebook group than through six months of networking events at a coworking space in Medellin. What is the actual reason people still pay for these, is it just the AC or am I missing something?
