Spent $300 on a co-working space membership I barely used in Lisbon

I signed up for a fancy co-working spot in Lisbon back in March thinking I'd be super productive with fast wifi and free coffee. Ended up working from cafes or my apartment most days because I found the open office too noisy for client calls. Has anyone else found a better middle ground between working from home and paying for a full membership?

Ever try the pay-as-you-go spots? Way cheaper for random days. I found a place in Porto that does 5-punch cards. Just need it for loud calls or meetings.

Feels like every city has this subscription trap now, where you're paying for the idea of being productive instead of what actually works for you.

Exactly. I just book day passes now. Subscriptions rarely pay off unless you go 4+ times a week.
