Street musician in Barcelona told me to stop planning my days around wifi speed
I was sitting in this cramped coworking space near La Rambla stressing about download speeds when this old guitarist outside said "you're working everywhere but living nowhere" and now I'm rethinking my whole setup, anyone else ever had a stranger just nail you like that?

Yeah but wifi is kinda necessary when you actually work for a living lol

I actually just read a study that said something like 80% of remote jobs list reliable wifi as a requirement now, not even an option. It's pretty wild how fast that changed from being a nice perk to basically mandatory for most office-type work. Even my buddy who's a contractor for Verizon told me their business installs doubled since 2020 because companies finally realized you can't just have people tethering off their phones forever.
