Unpopular opinion: My mom's constant worry calls are ruining my flow.

She calls every time I post a travel pic. I love her, but daily check-ins mess up my day.

So it's specifically the travel pics that set her off. Is it any location, or just places she thinks are dangerous? Like does a beach resort get the same reaction as a photo from a big city? Maybe she's seeing risk where you're just seeing your lunch.

Remember my friend who posted a pic from a hiking trail? Her mom saw a rock in the background and called 911 for a "landslide risk"! It was just a normal trail. Like @claire_gibson said, moms see danger in a totally normal photo. My friend had to explain it to a very confused park ranger.

Notice that the daily calls themselves disrupt your flow, not just the travel pic reactions. Claire's idea about danger is good, but it might not be the whole story. The post says check-ins happen every day, so even a normal day gets interrupted. This constant contact can make you feel like you're always on call, which kills creativity or focus. Moms worry, but that doesn't mean they should dictate your daily rhythm. Have you considered asking her to save non-urgent chats for a specific time?
