Update: My visa renewal in Bangkok took 8 hours, not 2

I figured I'd just pop into the immigration office early and be done by lunch. Ended up waiting in four different lines because I missed one tiny form. Anyone else have a visa process that turned into a full day event?

Honestly that just sounds like a normal day at immigration. Tbh you should always plan for the whole day anyway. Ngl getting out in only eight hours is kind of a win.

My last visa run in Chiang Mai took 12 hours and I forgot my own passport number on the form.

My friend Mark once left his entire passport in the photocopier at the Vientiane consulate. He didn't realize until his number was called, and the officer just held it up for the whole room to see. Some days you just can't win with visa paperwork.
