Can we talk about the day I flipped on online proctoring?

Last month I was in my kitchen in Austin for a stats final through ProctorU and the software kept flagging me for looking down at my scratch paper. It paused my exam twice and I nearly lost 15 minutes of time, so I quit the session and emailed the school. They let me retake with a paper-based alternative and honestly that changed my whole view, I thought automated checks were fair but now I ask about the rules before every test. Has anyone else had a proctor system count them as cheating for something basic like this?
