Gave up on online proctoring, then one exam changed my mind

I swore those AI proctoring tools were just anxiety machines, especially after a friend in Phoenix got flagged for looking at his own ceiling fan. But last month I had to take a certification test for a work thing and the proctor actually caught a guy in my virtual room using a second phone. That was at 11am and by noon they'd pulled his results and messaged everyone about the integrity check. Has anyone else had a proctor that was actually useful instead of just creepy?
