Just realized my diploma frame cost more than my actual degree

I was cleaning out my closet last weekend and found the receipt from 2017 for that fancy custom frame I bought. It was $180 for the frame, matting, and UV glass. My associate degree from the community college in Dayton was about $160 per credit hour, so that particular class I framed cost like $480. But still, paying over a third of the class price just to hang the paper feels insane. And I only hung it up for like 6 months before it got moved behind the door. Has anyone else spent more on the presentation than the actual education? Next time I think I'd just get a plain $20 frame and call it good.
