Why does nobody talk about the lag spike in live group diploma sessions

Last Tuesday in the middle of my virtual cohort chat at 2pm, the host's audio froze for 47 seconds on the word 'certificate' and I panicked thinking I missed the submission portal link, so I screenshot everything and posted it to the side channel, which saved three other people who also thought they'd blinked through the instructions, has anyone else had the 'frozen moment' scramble and do you usually wait it out or just ask in the text feed right away?

Did you check if your host was sharing their screen instead of the group chat feed?
