Found out my old paint cans were still good after 7 years

I was cleaning out my garage last weekend and found about 15 cans of latex paint from when we painted the living room in 2017. Figured they'd be junk, but I stirred one up and it looked fine. I looked online and learned that unopened latex paint can last up to 10 years if stored right. Has anyone else had luck reviving old paint from the back of their garage?

Found a half-used can from 2014 that stirred up like new, painted a whole fence with it.

Stirring up old paint is always a gamble, but sounds like you got lucky with that can.

nah my buddy tried that with an old can of deck stain he found, thought he scored. stirred it up real good, slapped it on, and it dried all crusty and flaky the next day lol. had to sand the whole thing off.
