I stopped sanding between every coat of paint and my cabinets look better than ever

Everyone online kept saying you had to sand between each coat for a smooth finish. I did that for my kitchen cabinets in Columbus and it took me 4 days just for the paint part. On the last coat I was so tired I just skipped the sanding because I literally couldn't do it anymore. Turns out the finish is actually smoother without that extra step because I wasn't scratching up a partially cured coat. Has anyone else tried skipping a sanding step and gotten better results?

Did you let each coat cure fully before the next one? In my experience, sanding works fine if you wait long enough for the paint to harden. Might be the shorter drying time causing the issue more than the sanding itself.

Wait for paint to cure? Yeah, I'll try that next time, @the_xena. My impatience is my downfall.
