Rewired my whole basement on Saturday and it was pure chaos

Spent 9 hours running new circuits after the old knob and tube finally gave out, and I swear half that time was just me yelling at a single junction box in Des Moines. The breaker panel looks clean now, but my back is wrecked and I still don't trust the hallway switch. Anyone else ever finish a big electrical job and immediately question every connection you made?

Distrusting your own work just means you actually checked it.

and here i thought i was just being paranoid and covered in caffeine jitters. turns out it's called "quality control" and i should probably put that on my resume. next step is convincing my boss that doubting everything is actually a management strategy.
