Oh NO that is SO relatable! I spent an entire Saturday once trying to get a bookshelf level and kept adding shims but it Still wobbled. Turns out the floor had a weird dip I never noticed before, I was so ANNOYED at myself.

And THEN you finally get it perfect and put all your books back on, only to realize three days later that one of the shelf pegs wasn't fully seated - so now you're starting all over again from scratch. It's always something stupid like that, isn't it? Like the universe just makes sure you can't have a simple win with home improvement projects. I've learned to just give everything a good shake before I declare it done now (saves me a lot of frustration, honestly).
