Tried using wood glue to fix a cracked floor tile and it actually held for 3 months now.

I patched a 2 inch crack in my kitchen tile with wood glue because I had nothing else handy, and it's still solid through foot traffic and spills. Has anyone else used a totally wrong adhesive on tile and had it weirdly work out?

Yeah wood glue definitely isn't waterproof, one mopping and that fix is toast.

Maybe it's just me but wood glue on tile sounds like a temporary fix that's gonna fail spectacularly at some point. Tile expands and contracts differently than wood does, especially with temperature changes from cooking or weather. Wood glue isn't waterproof either so one big spill from a sink or a mopping session and that crack's gonna get wet underneath. You're basically relying on luck that nothing shifts or gets saturated for the long haul. Wouldn't trust it past a few more months honestly.

Well, nothing says "floor fix" like a glue made for things that aren't floors.
