I finally stopped buying $4 glass cleaner after testing the $1.25 one
Went through 3 bottles of Windex last year before a buddy at work said why not grab the generic at Dollar Tree. Used it on my bathroom mirror and car windows for 2 weeks, zero streaks. Smells a bit different but the finish is the same. Has anyone else switched to the store brand cleaners and noticed no difference at all?

Hold on, you paid four dollars for Windex and just accepted it? Like, that was just the price of clean glass to you? I swear I’ve been getting robbed for years without even thinking about it. It never even crossed my mind to look at the cheap stuff, I just assumed it would leave everything looking like a foggy mess. The fact that it smells different but works the same is blowing my mind a little. Guess I’m stocking up next time I’m at the dollar store, because I’ve been flushing money down the drain over a basic spray bottle.
