Overheard a lady in the checkout line say her shower curtain was 8 years old, and now I have questions
She was at Dollar Tree buying a replacement, and she told the cashier she got 8 years out of the old one because she washed it in the machine with vinegar every month. I've been tossing mine every 2 years because they get that pink scum no matter what. Her secret was letting it air dry outside after the wash, not in the dryer. I tried it last Saturday with my $3 curtain and it's actually not gross for once. Anyone else got a weird longevity hack for dollar store stuff?
