After switching from a basic mouse to a 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse for my CAD work, my modeling speed on a complex assembly jumped by about 30% in just two weeks.

My old boss swore by his SpaceMouse, but I could never get the hang of it. The learning curve felt steeper than the time it saved, at least for the simpler parts I was drafting. I just went back to keyboard shortcuts and a regular mouse.
