Appreciation post: My $300 drafting lamp upgrade was a total game changer

I finally swapped out my old desk lamp for a proper LED drafting light with adjustable color temperature. The eye strain I used to get after long sessions is completely gone now, anyone else made a similar switch?

Oh man, that's so real. It's wild how we'll just put up with bad light for years, squinting and getting headaches, because we don't realize how much better it could be. I see it with monitors too, people using these super blue, harsh screens all day. A good quality light source is one of those things you don't appreciate until you finally have it.

My buddy finally got a proper desk lamp after years of that awful yellow bulb from college. He said it was like his brain just woke up, no joke.
