Back in 2018 on a job in Portland, a senior drafter showed me how he used a simple paper triangle to check angles faster than any digital tool I owned.

He pulled a folded scrap out of his shirt pocket and marked a line on it with a ballpoint pen, and I've never used a protractor on site since then - has anyone else picked up a trick like that from an old timer?

Did I accidentally Photoshop my entire sense of direction with that one trick?

Oh come on, that's completely backwards. Your sense of direction has nothing to do with Photoshop skills and everything to do with paying attention to your surroundings. People blame tech for their own bad habits, but most navigation issues come from just not looking at street signs or landmarks in the first place.
