Just realized I wasted $200 on fancy drafting software I never needed

Bought into that hype about the latest CAD program last year (you know, the one with all the cloud features) and dropped $200 on a subscription. Turns out my old free version of DraftSight does everything I need for residential layouts. Anyone else dump money on a tool they barely used?

Calm down a little, it's just two hundred bucks. People blow that much on dinner and drinks without thinking twice. You probably learned something from messing around with the new software even if it wasn't the best fit. Plus now you know for sure your old tool is the right one for you. That's not a waste, that's just paying for a lesson. Save the real regret for when you drop two grand on something you never touch.

Yeah but I could've spent that two hundred on pizza and a really bad decision at 2am, so in my book that's still a win somehow. idk, maybe it's just me but I've paid way more for way less entertainment.

Read a study that said most people only use 10% of a software's features anyway.
