Switched from a digital scale to a manual scale for drafting last month

Everyone told me digital was the future but I got tired of replacing batteries mid-job. Now I use a plain old metal ruler and triangle for measuring, feels way more solid. Anyone else go back to manual tools?

Oh, I remember reading about a study that said people actually measure more accurately with analog tools because they can see the full scale. Something about digital displays making you lose the bigger picture. Makes sense to me, batteries or no batteries.

Right? It's like digital zoom versus actually seeing the whole thing.
