That drafting shop in Tacoma with the terrible overhead lighting
I stopped by a small shop off Pacific Ave last week to pick up some prints, and the place was a mess of shadows and glare on every board. The guy running it said he's been working with one busted fluorescent tube for 6 months now. Has anyone else noticed how bad lighting can mess with your line accuracy over time?

Had a desk lamp burn out mid-draft once. Felt like drawing with oven mitts on.

Man, bad lighting is the worst. I had a drafting gig where a single flickering bulb made my lines look all wobbly on the vellum. Took me forever to figure out I wasn't losing my touch, the light was just playing tricks. A solid shadow over your T-square can mess up a whole set of plans.
