Chose between a banjo and a flat box sander for my crew

I had to pick one for this apartment reno in Denver last month. Went with the banjo because my guys are used to it and it's faster for big runs. But the finish wasn't as flat as the flat box would've been, especially on the long hallway. Has anyone else switched and regretted it?

Nah, a flat box would've given you a way better finish on that hallway.

Ain't it funny how the tool you swear by always seems to fight you on the one job you actually need it for?

@ryantorres You're right about the flat box, but only if you're willing to put in the extra sanding time. That hallway's got those weird corner angles that a flat box just fights with the whole time. A nap roller with a good thick cover would've been my play there, less fuss and a smoother finish.
