My coffee always tastes like sheetrock dust by 10 AM
No matter where I put my cup, the fine powder finds its way in. It's like drinking a chalky latte every single day.

The sheetrock dust might actually be your mouth feeling chalky from dehydration.

Actually, you might be right. Always thought that gritty feeling had to be dust, but dehydration making your mouth feel chalky makes a lot of sense.

Feel like that's missing the point. Sheetrock dust has a certain taste and feel. I've done renovation work and that chalky feeling is easy to spot. Dehydration makes your mouth dry, but not gritty like dust. Maybe it's just me, but I know what I'm talking about here. So yeah, it's probably the dust.
