That money I dropped on a mud mixing paddle was a total joke
I bought this $80 fancy mud mixing paddle last month because the guy at the supply house swore it would cut my time in half. First job with it, the damn thing seized up on me halfway through a 5 gallon bucket of all purpose. Couldn't even get a refund because I tossed the receipt. You guys sticking with the cheapo ones or is there actually a brand that doesn't crap out after two uses?

Gotta agree with @jamie770 here, it's just mixing mud not rocket science.

Dude YES same thing happened to me! Bought one of those "pro grade" paddles and the gearbox just gave up on the second bucket. Total waste. I just grab the cheap harbor freight ones now and treat 'em like disposable - they last about as long as the expensive ones anyway.
