Frozen dumplings from H-Mart actually surprised me

I always thought frozen dumplings were a waste of time until I grabbed a bag of the Bibigo pork and kimchi ones on sale for $6 last week. Steamed them up and they tasted just like the ones from my local spot in Flushing. Anyone else found a frozen brand that holds up?

Disagree, most frozen dumplings still taste like cardboard compared to fresh ones.

Same here, I grabbed a bag of those Bibigo kimchi dumplings on a whim and was shocked how good they were. The skins held up nicely in the steamer and didn't turn into a soggy mess like most frozen stuff. Take this with a grain of salt, but I'd put them up against a lot of restaurant dumplings any day.

Right? And the thing nobody talks about is how the filling isn't greasy. Most frozen dumplings leave that oily slick in the steamer basket. These barely leave anything.
