The halal cart near my office changed their dumpling recipe and I'm still not over it

For about 8 years they had these lamb dumplings with a thin, almost translucent wrapper that you could see the filling through. They were perfect with their spicy vinegar sauce. Then around 2021, the son took over and switched to a thicker, doughier wrapper that reminds me of frozen grocery store ones. I asked him about it last week and he said the old ones were too fragile for delivery orders. I get wanting to scale up, but I miss those delicate little things. Has anyone else had a favorite spot change their recipe for logistics reasons?

Ugh, that's such a bummer. I'd be missing those translucent skins too.

Pretty sure those are translucent bodies, not skins.
