Counted 18 different species at my feeder this morning and that's a record since I moved to Vermont in March
The black-throated blue warbler showed up right at 6:15 AM and I just sat there with my coffee wondering how I missed so many birds living in the city all those years, has anyone else's backyard list jumped after relocating to a new state?

Moved from Philly to Oregon last year and went from 6 feeder species to 23 within a month, it's wild how much changes.

Same thing happened when I moved from Boston to New Hampshire three years ago, totally changed my feeder list.

@price.gavin man that move really shakes up your whole setup. When I went from the city to the suburbs it was like starting from scratch. Had to swap out all my thistle feeders for sunflower chips cause the goldfinches just vanished and I got swarmed by house finches instead. Also had to rethink my suet placement cause the squirrels found it way too fast out here. Just gotta watch what shows up for a couple weeks and adjust from there.
