Had a robin follow me for a full mile along the creek path last Tuesday

I was walking my usual route along the creek at 6am. This robin kept hopping from branch to branch right next to me, chirping the whole way. I stopped at a bench to rest and it landed two feet away and just stared at me. Has anyone else had a bird act like it was trying to tell you something?

Tbh I've noticed birds do this more than people talk about. It's like they're checking in on you or something.

Wait, has anyone else noticed that animals seem to tune into you more when you're going through something? Like, I swear the stray cats near my place started hanging around my porch right when I was having a rough month. It feels like they just... know. Maybe animals pick up on our energy or stress, and that robin was just vibing with whatever you were putting out that morning. I've seen it with dogs at the park too - they'll stick close to certain people, almost like they're drawn to them. Either way, its cool when nature decides to buddy up with you like that.

Oh man, I TOTALLY feel this. When I was going through a really rough breakup last year, this one squirrel would literally sit on my windowsill every morning and just stare at me like it was keeping watch. It's like they pick up on the weird energy shifts we give off and decide to check in. Animals are WAY more in tune with us than we give them credit for, I swear.
