A buddy talked me into trying that new anti-corrosion paste last month

I was sure it was just another overpriced gimmick, but we had a nasty outdoor panel replacement in Tacoma with a lot of salty air exposure. He put it on the lugs and bus bars, and I did the same job a week later without it. Checked them both yesterday, and mine already had that white powdery start, his looked brand new. Has anyone else found a paste or grease that actually holds up like that near the coast?

Thought it was snake oil until I saw the results.

My buddy swore by that stuff after it fixed his lawn.

Wait, so you're saying the paste held up for a full month in that salty air? That's wild. Alex_wilson79 mentioned it too, but did your buddy say if he had to clean the surfaces first, or did he just slather it on right over the old stuff?
