I finally saw why skipping the manual after a reset can be the right call.

That extra step often hides the real gremlin in the system.

Wow, this is SO true! My buddy Mark had a smart TV that would NOT stop glitching. He did a hard reset but then just left it unplugged overnight instead of going through the setup. The next day, it booted up fine and has been working great ever since. He said the manual wanted him to set everything up again, but skipping that was the REAL fix. It's like the TV needed a proper nap to forget all the bad code.

I learned that the hard way with a flaky Wi-Fi router last year. After the third reset I just left it unplugged for ten minutes instead of redoing the setup wizard, and it's been solid ever since. Sometimes the fix isn't in the instructions, it's in giving the system a real chance to clear its head.
