Spent $600 on a laser alignment tool and it was worth every penny
I dropped $600 on a Bosch GLL 3-80 laser level for aligning tracks on a job in Chicago last month. It saved me from a major headache where the cab door was rubbing against the hoistway. Has anyone else shelled out for a pricier tool that actually paid off?

You said "worth every penny" but that price sounds steep for something that lines up a door track. You can usually get a decent laser level for under $200 that does the same job. I get that it saves time, but $600 is a lot of cash for a tool that just fixes one kind of problem.

Nah, you're missing the point. Time is money on a job site.

Wait, hold up. $600 for a tool that just lines up a door track? That cannot be right, I thought you were exaggerating. Is it made of gold or something?
