Just hit 500 facials in my first year and the numbers surprised me
I kept a little tally in my notebook, nothing fancy just check marks. Last week I counted and hit 500 facials since I started working at the spa. That number surprised me because I thought I was around 350. It really showed me how much my technique has changed and improved over all those appointments. Has anyone else tracked their numbers like this and noticed a big jump in skill?

Kept a similar tally when I first started doing skincare at home, just a little spiral notebook in my bathroom drawer. Hit about 300 sessions before I realized how much faster I was getting at the actual technique. The biggest thing I noticed was my pressure control improved a ton, around the 200 mark I stopped pressing too hard and started getting way better results. That notebooks a great way to see your own progress, even if the numbers surprise you at first.

The part about pressure control "around the 200 mark" really grabbed me... I actually read somewhere that most people who do manual techniques tend to overdo the pressure at first because they think harder means better. That makes total sense with what you're saying. It's like your hands finally learn what "just enough" feels like after all that repetition. I bet that notebook is pretty wild to flip through now, seeing how your notes changed from "pressed too hard again" to just smooth sailing.

Did you notice your technique change gradually or was it like one day everything just clicked around a certain number?
