Just picked between two different microneedling pens for my clinic

I was stuck between the Dr. Pen M8 and a more basic model for half the price. I went with the M8 because it had the adjustable speed settings, which my mentor said was key for sensitive skin. It arrived last Thursday and I've done three treatments with it so far. The client with rosacea said it felt way more comfortable than her last session somewhere else. Anyone have a favorite serum they pair with their pen for post-treatment?

jamesroberts I get where you're coming from but I think you're missing the bigger picture here. Rosacea isn't just regular sensitive skin, it's a whole different beast. The blood vessels are super reactive and anything too aggressive can actually trigger a flare up instead of helping. I've seen clients with mild sensitivity do fine with cheaper pens but that M8s adjustable speed really does let you dial it down to where you're barely tapping the skin instead of digging in. Logan I hear you on the redness thing, but with rosacea it's not just about getting red, it's about the broken capillaries and texture issues that come with it. My mentor always says you need to match the tool to the condition, not just the skin type.

Adjustable speed for sensitive skin" sounds smart, my sensitive skin just gets red if I look at it wrong.

Maybe it's just me but that sounds a bit over the top. Skin can be sensitive without being that dramatic. People just like to make a big deal out of normal stuff sometimes.
