My steamer decided to quit mid-facial yesterday

I was about 15 minutes into a standard European facial when it just hissed and went cold. The client was super chill about it, thankfully. I had to quickly pivot and use a hot towel steamer method I learned in school, which actually worked out fine. Has anyone else had a machine fail like that? What's your go-to backup plan?

Oh man, that's rough! My friend's facial bed motor died right as she was adjusting it for a client last month. She had to grab every pillow in the room to prop the person up comfortably. She ended up doing the whole treatment with the client basically reclined on a nest of cushions. It was a total MacGyver moment.

My old massage chair gave out mid-session once. Client was stuck leaning way back. I had to use three couch cushions and a phone book to get his head up. He looked like he was in some weird throne. We just went with it.
