Picked LED vs regular facial lamp and my clients noticed the difference
I was torn between getting a magnifying LED lamp or just sticking with my old regular lamp for extractions. I ended up going with the LED one because a friend in the biz said it helps her see congestion better. After using it for about 2 weeks now, I can honestly say it makes a huge difference for deep blackheads and under-the-skin bumps. The light is brighter and more focused without being harsh on my eyes after a long day. A few clients even asked if I changed something because their skin looked smoother post-extraction. Has anyone else switched lighting and noticed better results on stubborn breakouts?

Have you found the blue light helpful at all for inflamed breakouts? I made the switch about a year ago and it really cut down on the time I spend digging around. The focused beam makes a huge difference for those tiny closed comedones along the jawline too. My older lamp left too many shadowy spots that I'd miss until I checked with a flashlight later.

So @jamie770, do you find the blue light actually kills the inflammation before it even gets to the whitehead stage, or is it more of a surface thing? I've been hesitant to try it because my breakouts are usually those deep, angry ones that take forever to come to a head. I've got a regular LED mask but it's too broad, I can never target just one spot. Maybe the focused beam would actually help me stop picking at the same spot for three days.
