Rant: I thought gua sha was just a TikTok trend until a client in Denver swore by it for her jawline.
She came in with way less puffiness after doing it herself for six weeks. I tried it on a few other clients with similar tension patterns, and the results were actually noticeable. So, is this a legit tool we should be adding, or is it just a fad that'll fade?

What finally convinced you to try it? I was skeptical too until I saw the tension release in my own practice, it's a solid tool for that specific issue. The results speak for themselves.

Isn't gua sha just for moving lymph? The jawline thing is a bonus from reducing swelling, not some magic sculpting tool.

Wait, so does the gua sha actually hurt? My sister got super into those jade rollers a while back and then tried one of these stone things. She said it felt like someone was trying to scrape her face off with a butter knife, even though she was using oil. She gave up after two days because it left her skin all red and angry. Maybe she was doing it way too hard?
