TIL that fancy spa in Scottsdale uses steam instead of hot towels for extractions

I drove 3 hours to check out that overpriced place everyone raves about and honestly their steam method left my skin more irritated than my usual hot towel routine, has anyone else tried this trend and regretted it?

ugh the "steam method" sounds like such a gimmick, my skin would probably freak out too. sucks that the hype didn't deliver for you.
