Was totally against LED face masks until I tried one on a dare
My coworker at the spa in Austin kept pushing this $400 LED mask on me for months. I thought it was just another overpriced gadget that estheticians shill. But she let me borrow hers for 2 weeks and I swear my skin looked less red after just 5 sessions. Has anyone else been surprised by a tool they thought was gimmicky?

Wait, $400?! No way. I saw one of those masks for like $60 at Target and thought even that was too much. But the redness thing is wild, my face gets all blotchy after any kind of heat. Did you use it every day or just a few times a week to see that change?

Right? Same here, the blotchy thing stopped after like two weeks.

Ha, jokes on me I guess. I borrowed one from a buddy who does skincare reviews and figured it'd be a waste of time. But I actually saw my sun spots fade a little after about a week of using it. Here's the thing nobody talks about though - I think the real reason it helped was because it forced me to sit still for 10 minutes every night. No phone, no TV, just me and this dumb glowing mask on my face. That alone probably lowered my stress enough to help my skin. Plus I noticed I was way better about moisturizing after since I had nothing else to do. So maybe it's a fancy timer for self care more than a magic light.
