Discovered that taking a moment to stretch mid-day shifts my energy.
It makes a slow afternoon feel quick and easy.

Yeah that "shifts my energy" thing is so real... I started getting up from my desk every hour just to touch my toes and roll my shoulders. It completely breaks up that foggy, stuck feeling. My back doesn't get as stiff in the late afternoon either, which makes focusing way easier. That one tiny habit changed the whole rhythm of my workday.

What do you use to time those breaks, @brianhill? I set a quiet timer on my phone, but half the time I end up ignoring it. Making it a real habit is the only way it sticks, like tying it to something you already do. After a while, you notice the fog setting in and get up before the timer even goes off. Still working on applying that to drinking enough water though.

Switched to drinking water instead of coffee mid-morning. Totally changed how I crash after lunch. Felt more alert without the jitters.
