Hot take: The bus stop bench epiphany that saved my morning commute
I was waiting at the 14th and Broadway stop in Portland last Wednesday and watched three people nearly trip on a cracked slab before I realized I could just stand 15 feet down the block where the pavement was flat, and now I save 4 minutes every day by avoiding that crowded spot.

Started walking the extra few feet myself last week. Found out the corner coffee shop has a door right where I stand now. Cut my wait time and I grab a quick cup without rushing. Small changes really do stack up.

Did your friend try that trick and end up finding a shortcut too?

Started parking at the far end of the lot myself. Saved 5 minutes easy.
