I heard a kid at the park say something that stuck with me

I was sitting on a bench yesterday and this little girl, maybe 5 years old, pointed at a big cloud and told her dad, 'Look, it's a dinosaur having a nap.' It wasn't just a sheep or a boat, it was a whole story. I realized I haven't looked at clouds like that since I was her age. I've just been seeing them as weather, not as pictures. It made me think about how much we stop noticing the simple, fun stuff as we get older. Has anyone else had a small moment like that recently, where you saw something ordinary in a totally new way?

I mean, it's just a cloud. We have bills to pay, you know?

Remember thinking that was just kid stuff. Then I saw a cloud that looked exactly like my old dog, right down the floppy ear. It hit me hard how much we filter out as adults. Now I make a point to look up whenever I'm outside, even for a minute. It's a small thing, but it brings back a quiet kind of wonder I forgot I could have.
