I was reading a book about city pigeons and found out they can see ultraviolet light
It was this old library book, 'The Secret Life of Urban Birds', and I was just flipping through it. The page said their vision goes into a range we can't even imagine, which explains why they always seem to spot stuff we miss. I sat there for a solid five minutes just looking at the pigeons on my fire escape differently. Has anyone else stumbled on a small fact that totally shifted how you see a normal thing?

That book sounds cool. I read once that honeybees see flower patterns we can't, like landing guides. It makes you realize the whole world is running on different settings, and we only get the basic human package.

Honestly that UV thing is wild. It makes me wonder what else is right in front of us that we're just blind to. Like, if we could see that extra light for just a second, would our whole city look totally different? What do you think is the most normal thing we're probably seeing completely wrong?
