The barista at the place on 5th Street just asked me the strangest question
I was getting my usual coffee yesterday morning and mentioned I was tired from a long shift, and she looked at me and said, 'Honestly, do you think your brain is more tired or your feet?' Tbh, I stood there for a full minute trying to figure it out, and it completely flipped how I think about being tired. Has a random question from a stranger ever stuck with you like that?

Got asked once if I was more bored or just tired. Totally threw me off.

Remember getting asked if I was more bored or tired once. That question stuck with me for weeks. It makes you break down a feeling you just accept as one thing. Now I catch myself trying to figure out if I'm actually tired or just deeply uninterested in what I'm doing. Changes how you deal with it.
