Why does nobody talk about using a timer when you're deciding between two things to eat?
Last night I had to decide between making a stir fry or just ordering pizza. I was standing in front of the fridge for like 10 minutes going back and forth. Finally I set a timer on my phone for 60 seconds and told myself whatever I picked when it went off was what I'd do. I ended up with the stir fry because I pictured myself chopping veggies and it felt right. The timer trick stopped me from overthinking and just going with my gut. It was a cheap decision with no real stakes, but the clarity felt huge. Has anyone else tried something like that for small choices?

Huh, that's actually pretty smart.

@felix_black it's clever but the timing is off. If you look at the actual data from last year's rollout, the early adopters got hit with way more bugs than they expected. The system works better now but mostly because they patched a bunch of things that shouldn't have been broken in the first place.

@the_kim Wait six months if you can, let them iron out the kinks first.
